: We received research ethical clearance from the Makerere University School of Medicine Research Ethics Committee (#REC REF2019-083)and regulatory permission from the Uganda National Council for Science and Technology (#HS576ES). The Kiryandongo District Health Office provided administrative clearance for the three study sites (Ref: CR/KD/10418). We obtained written informed consent from all participants 18 years and above, and assent from participants 16–17 years with guardian consent to take part in the study.
