: This study was done following the ethical standards in the declaration of Helsinki. The study received ethical approval from the Research Ethics Committee (REC) of Mbale Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH-2025-061). Administrative clearance was sought from the Soroti City Health Office and the different health facility in-charges. Research ethical considerations were always observed during the data collection process, which included but was not limited to: Justice, Respect, Beneficence, non-maleficence, obtaining informed consent, and observation of privacy to both the participants and their information by interviewing them individually in private rooms with different unique identifiers assigned to different questionnaires to keep participants anonymous.
