: Approval to conduct the study was sought from the Research Ethics Committee of Uganda Christian University. Administrative approval was obtained from Bukedea, Kumi and Serere district health offices and the respective health facilities to access patient data. Confidentiality was assured by ensuring that identification features, such as names, are not recorded on the research tools. The collected data was kept under key and lock to ensure the privacy of information.
