: This ecological study used secondary public domain data, aggregated and without identifying the participants. The raw data were obtained from the Information System of the Schistosomiasis Control Program (Sistema de Informação do Programa de Vigilância e Controle da Esquistossomose—SISPCE/SVS/MS) and could be accessed upon request at the Sergipe State Department of Health (SES/SE) ( email: cve.zoonoses@saude.se.gov.br).
