: The research study adhered to the principles in the Helsinki declaration []. The study protocol was reviewed and approved by three institutional review boards: the James Cook University (JCU) Human Ethics Committee (H9031), the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) Ethical Review Committee (KATHIRB/AP/029/23), and the Ghana Health Service (GHS) Ethics Review Committee (GHS-ERC: 005/09/22). Besides, the Ashanti Regional Health Directorate also granted approval for the study. Prior to the participants participation in the study, each was provided with a detail explanation of the research objectives, aim and confidentiality measures put in place to safeguard their information. Both written and verbal informed consent were sought from the participants who were assured that their identities would not be connected to any research output. Participants were further assured of their right to withdraw from the study at any time without consequence.
