: This study is a secondary analysis of de-identified data obtained from the Performance Monitoring for Action (PMA) Ethiopia project. The original PMA Ethiopia survey received ethical approval from the Institutional Review Board of the Ethiopian Health and Nutrition Research Institute (EHNRI) and the Bloomberg School of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, USA. All methods were carried out in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. The PMA Ethiopia project ensured that informed consent was obtained from all participants during the data collection process. For this secondary analysis, we obtained authorization to use the dataset, which contains no personal identifiers, thereby maintaining participant confidentiality. As this study involved secondary analysis of de-identified data from the PMA Ethiopia project, no additional consent from participants was required. The original data collection process included obtaining informed consent from all participants, ensuring their voluntary participation and understanding of the study’s purpose.
