: The survey procedures and instruments used in the 2018 Nigeria Demographic Health Survey (DHS) were approved by the National Health Research Ethics Committee of the Federal Ministry of Health, Nigeria and the Ethics Committee of ORC Macro International. Being that it’s a secondary dataset, the informed consent was administered and collected by the trained DHS has been Permission to access and use the DHS dataset was obtained through online registration and a formal application to the DHS Program.
