: Informed consent was obtained from all police officers who participated in the study. Additionally, after explaining the study objectives and the importance of their participation to the female participants, they agreed to take part. Oral informed consent was obtained for the interviews. Only participants who gave their consent were included in the study. No financial compensation was provided to participants, and there were no penalties for refusal to participate. No invasive procedures were performed. The confidentiality of all information was strictly maintained throughout the research process. Data were collected by healthcare professionals working in the health structures of the PNC in Goma. The privacy of the participants was protected by conducting the interviews in a separate room.
