: This study, entitled “Effectiveness of the e-Aulia Website in Improving Knowledge and Attitude Toward Hypertension Management among Community Members ”, was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Doctoral Program in Environmental Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia (Ref. No. 12/02/14/2025, dated August 20, 2025). The approval was formally issued and signed by Prof. Dr. Indang Dewata, M.Si, Deputy Director II for Academic Affairs, Postgraduate School, Universitas Negeri Padang. The study involved 50 hypertensive participants residing in Pasir Village, Central Pariaman, Indonesia, and was conducted in line with national and institutional ethical standards.All procedures adhered to the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki, including respect for individuals and their right, obtaining informed consent prior to participation, prioritizing the health and well-being of participants over the interests of science and society, basing the protocol on sound scientific evidence, minimizing risks while maximizing potential benefits, ensuring privacy and confidentiality, providing additional safeguards for vulnerable populations such as older adults, conducting independent ethical review before study initiation, considering access to beneficial interventions after study completion, and maintaining transparency by disseminating results for scientific and public benefit. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to data collection, ensuring voluntary participation, confidentiality, and protection of personal data.
