The study adhered to the principles outlined in the revised Helsinki Declaration to uphold and protect the rights of participants. Participants were assured of privacy, confidentiality, and the right to withdraw at any time. Informed consent was obtained from each eligible participant after they had been provided with detailed information about the study. Given that participants were minors (13–17 years), a waiver of parental consent was approved by the ethics board, this was justified on the grounds of minimal risk and the educational context of the study.
