Ethical approval for the study was obtained from the Committee on Human Research, Publications, and Ethics at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana, with ethics approval number CHRPE/AP/738/25. Informed consent was obtained from each respondent. The requisite permission was sought from the management of the Asante Mampong Government Hospital and the SDA Government Hospital at Agona-Asamang. The hospital management and respondents, therefore, gave permission and informed consent for the study.
