: The protocol (SGS-EC-23-25) was approved by the Institutional Ethical Review Board of the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana, and the research was carried out in accordance with the established relevant ethical guidelines and regulations. Participant’s informed consent was obtained, and their confidentiality and anonymity were maintained throughout the study.

: Written informed consent to participate in the study was obtained from the sanitation unit head and workers after explaining the study’s purpose to them. Participation was voluntary and anonymity was maintained by not collecting their identifying information.
