The ethical clearance for the study was taken from the Institutional Ethics Committee of Bhagat Phool Singh Government Medical College for Women, Khanpur Kalan, Sonepat vide letter no. BPSGMCW/RC937/IEC/23 dated 18.08.2023. All interviews and discussions were conducted in confidential settings to ensure strict privacy safeguards, and participants who disclosed sensitive issues, such as intimate partner violence, were given information about relevant support services for referral. Written consent to participate was taken from participants before data collection.
