: The study plan was reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board (Ethics Committee) of the Royal Thai Army Medical Department, Thailand (Approval Number: M048q/66_exp). In accordance with ethical standards, written informed consent was obtained from all adult participants. For participants under 18 years old (young children), written informed consent was obtained from their legal guardians (parents), and informed assent was obtained directly from the minors. As an ethical consideration for the study participants, all individuals who tested positive for intestinal parasites received appropriate antiparasitic medication.
