: Not applicable. This study is a scoping review and documentary analysis based on previously published literature and publicly available secondary data from official repositories (INPE, DATASUS, IBGE, and ISA). According to the Brazilian National Health Council (Conselho Nacional de Saúde) Resolutions No. 466/2012 and No. 510/2016, research that exclusively utilizes bibliographic and public domain data is exempt from formal evaluation by a Research Ethics Committee (CEP/CONEP). Nevertheless, the study adopts a decolonial framework and adheres to the ethical principles of epistemic justice, acknowledging the Tenetehara Tembé people as the sovereign holders of traditional knowledge. The methodology was designed to respect the biodiversity stewardship of the Alto Rio Guamá Indigenous Territory (TIARG), especially given the socio-environmental pressures of deforestation and fires (queimadas) in the region. No direct field research or interaction with human subjects was conducted for this review.
