: Ethical approval for this study has been obtained from the Institutional Review Board of the Nepal Health Research Council (REF: 2678, Protocol No: 152_2025). The study was conducted in accordance with relevant national guidelines and the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.

: This study has been reviewed and approved by the Institutional Review Board of NHRC. Following approval, participating schools were selected, and orientation sessions were conducted with school authorities and teachers to support standardized implementation. Baseline data collection and delivery of the intervention in intervention group have been completed. Echocardiographic screening, end-line assessments and ongoing program evaluation activities are currently being conducted in accordance with the approved study timeline; however, implementation has experienced delays due to political and contextual challenges.
