: This study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and Ethical approval was obtained from Institutional Research Ethics Review Board of Tigray Health Research Institute with Ref.No THRI/4031/0503/16. Then, a support letter was secured from Tigray Health Bureau, and permission was also attained from the selected districts and tabias. Before the data collection started participants were informed about the purpose, procedure, confidentiality, rights, risk, benefits, right to withdraw, and person to contact, and they consented voluntarily using written informed consent. All collected data were handled anonymously and in a secure way.
