Ethics approval and consent to participate: The study was conducted in accordance with relevant ethical guidelines and regulations, including the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the Institutional Review Board of Ambo University (Reference No: AUWC/PG/36/17) on October 08, 20204. Before the interview, written informed consent was obtained from all participants and their legal guardian after explaining the study’s purpose and the importance of their contribution to improving child health services. Participants were informed of their right to skip questions or withdraw at any time. Interviews were conducted in a private setting to ensure confidentiality, and after consent, participants were given the questionnaire with clear instructions.
