Ethics approval and consent to participate: This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethical approval was obtained from the University of Health and Allied Sciences Research Ethics Committee (UHAS-REC) under reference number UHAS-REC B.41 [012]24-25. Permission to conduct the study was also obtained from the Karaga District Health Directorate prior to data collection. Written informed consent was obtained from all participants before participation. For participants below 20 years of age, written consent was obtained from parents or legal guardians, while verbal assent was obtained from the participants. Thumb-print consent was accepted for participants unable to provide written signatures. Confidentiality and anonymity of participants were maintained throughout the study.
