Ethics approval and consent to participate: The study was approved by Katsina State Ministry of Health, Nigeria (Reference number: MDH/ADM/SUB/1152/1/537) in line with the guidelines for research involving humans. The parents of participants under the age of 16 years provided their informed consent to enhance the participation of their children in the study. Every procedure involving humans in the study was carried out in line with the declaration of Helsinki. Informed consent was obtained from all participants prior to questionnaire administration and sample collection.
