Ethics approval and consent to participate: The Research and Ethics Committee at the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Medicine, Kandahar University approved this study from the ethics point of view (PHMFKDRU-131). Administrative approval and permission were obtained from the authorities of Cure Tertiary Hospital. Data confidentiality was maintained throughout the study. All personal patient information were de-identified and assigned study codes. Data were kept on a password-protected laptop. Data will be kept for 5 years after the study report is published, after which all data will be destroyed. Moreover, all procedures were carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki. Not applicable: As we used secondary data, the obtaining of informed consent was waived by the Research and Ethics Committee at the Department of Public health, faculty of Medicine, Kandahar University.
