: We did NOT study insect species listed in the Red List of Threatened Species of the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN), the Convention on Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES), the Annexes II, III and IV of the Bern Convention on the Conservation of European Wildlife and Natural Habitats, the Annexes II, IV and V of the European Directive on the Conservation of Natural Habitats and of Wild Fauna and Flora (Council Directive No. 92/43EEC 1992, revised edition 2007) and the Rulebook on the Declaration and Protection of Protected and Strictly Protected Wild Species of Plants, Animals and Fungi ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" Nos. 5/2010 and 47/2011). All the aforementioned legislative acts will be strictly respected. Our surveys are consistent with the provisions of the Animal Welfare Act ("Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia" No. 41/2009) and the rules of the Ethics Committee at the University of Belgrade—Faculty of Biology. According to the last two legal acts, insects are not subjected to ethical regulation.
