Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval was obtained by the Institutional Ethics Committees of Policlinic Agostino Gemelli at the Catholic University, Rome, Italy, where the surgery was performed. The protocol was also approved by the Italian Ministry of Health. Informed consent was signed. During the entire length of our study, all experiments were conducted in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations. The clinical trial’s registration number on the online platformis NCT02848846.
