: This study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Suzhou Municipal Hospital. Written informed consent was obtained from participants or their legally authorized representatives when necessary before enrollment (Ethics approval number: K-2024-014-K01). Both stroke patients and control participants were briefed about the research protocol and provided with written informed consent forms before the commencement of the study. In cases where right-sided hemiparesis prevented the participant from signing, a direct relative signed the consent form on behalf of the patient.
