: This project was conducted in accordance with the National Influenza Surveillance Protocol (2017 Edition). All virus strains used in the research were derived from the Yunnan Provincial Influenza Surveillance Network: sentinel hospitals collected specimens from influenza-like illness cases, which were then sent to network laboratories for RT-PCR testing. The remaining specimens that tested positive underwent further virus isolation, ultimately yielding the study virus strains. As no additional research interventions were performed on human subjects or animals in this study, no separate application for ethical review approval was submitted.
