: This retrospective study was approved by the local Ethics Committee of the University of Bari (no study number was assigned, due to the retrospective nature of the study). It was conducted according to the Declaration of Helsinki in its applicable version. Tissue samples were collected from the archive of the Anatomical Pathology Unit, and previously obtained during surgery at the Neurosurgery Unit, of University of Bari. All patients provided informed consent, for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as for the potential use of biological samples for research purposes.
