Ethics approval and consent to participate
: The research adhered to the local traditions for such research, the Code of Ethics of the International Society of Ethnobiology []. Prior oral informed consent was obtained from all study participants. Copies of voucher specimens were transferred to Poland with the Material Transfer Agreement received from the authorities of Lao PDR. The research was carried out in close cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology of Lao People’s Democratic Republic and the regional authorities of Luang Prabang.
