: Ethical approval for conducting ethnobotanical field surveys was obtained from the relevant local authorities in Swat/Kalam. All participants were informed about the purpose of the study, and verbal consent was obtained prior to interviews in accordance with community norms. Participation was entirely voluntary. The respondents were thoroughly guided on the importance of data and its contribution towards research and betterment of society.
