: The exemption of ethics approval in our scoping review manuscript, is justified due to its methodology, which solely involves a systematic synthesis of existing literature without direct engagement with human subjects. As a low-risk study, the absence of interventions or interactions with human participants mitigates ethical concerns. Thus, adhering to established guidelines and recognizing the negligible risk, ethics approval was deemed unnecessary, while maintaining a commitment to ethical integrity throughout the study.
