Declarations
Ethics approval: This study was approved by ethics committee of Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery (protocol number #32).
Limitations: A limitation of this case report is the absence of the original preoperative CT angiography scans in the final publication. Due to unforeseen external circumstances and a subsequent irrecoverable loss of the primary diagnostic facility’s data archives, the digital DICOM files could not be retrospectively retrieved. However, this limitation does not affect the clinical validity of our reports, as the diagnosis of type A aortic dissection and subsequent coronary malperfusion was definitively established in real-time via urgent selective coronary angiography and fully confirmed by direct intraoperative findings.
