: This study was performed in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Ethics approval and research governance approval were obtained from the PUMS Bioethics Committee (KB–228/24). Because of the sensitive nature of the topic, and potential disclosures of moral injury caused by the caregiving, the voluntary nature of the study was emphasised, and participants were informed of the possibility to quit the interview at any given time and to refuse to reveal information regarding their personal circumstances.
