: Post-mortem human brain tissue was collected from clinically diagnosed and neuropathologically verified donors with PD, PDD, iLBD, and non-demented controls by the Netherlands Brain Bank (NBB, ). Informed consent for brain autopsy and the use of brain tissue and clinical information for scientific research was obtained from either the donor or their next of kin, in accordance with all local ethical and legal guidelines.
