Ethical approval: This study was conducted in line with the principles of the Declaration of Helsinki. Approval was obtained from the Ethics Committee of the Kwara State Ministry of Health before the commencement of the research with Reference Number ERC/MOH/2023/09/151. During the research process, respondents were not subjected to any physical harm as the study did not involve any invasive procedures.
Consent to participate: Written informed consent was obtained from all the participants, parents, and school leadership as well and confidentiality was assured. The participants were also informed that they had the right to withdraw from the study at any time without any prejudice.
