: This study was approved by the Kitakyushu Medical Prison Ethics Review Committee and the Kyushu University Research Ethics Committee[22013–00]. The need for informed consent was waived by both review committees due to the retrospective nature of the study. All research involving human data was carried out in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki.Because the study was as retrospective and used the medical charts of patients who were treated in the Kitakyushu Medical Prison, we were unable to contact the individuals after their release from prison to obtain direct consent to participate.
