Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Data used in this study were gathered from SwEat, which consists of information about treatment episodes for patients who have agreed to participate. Information is registered in SwEat when it is established that the patient has given her/his consent to registration. In cases where the adolescent is underage (< 15), the guardian/s have to give permission. In the present study, the gain from using this extensive and informative data in SwEat was assessed to be greater than the risk that anyone would be harmed by the project. The study was approved by the Uppsala Regional Ethical Review Board, log. no. 2011/160.
