: The ethics review for this study was obtained from The Aga Khan University, Nairobi Institutional Ethics Review Committee (IERC) (Ref:2021/IERC-110.v2), and a research license was granted by the National Commission for Science, Technology & Innovation (License no: NACOSTI/P/22/14894). Approvals were also sought from the County Commissioner, Directorate of Education, Nairobi Metropolitan Services, as well as the Kilifi, and Mombasa County governments. All participants provided informed written or recorded consent to participate in this study. The field activities were conducted per the relevant guidelines and regulations.
