Declarations
:
: All procedures involving human participants in this study were in compliance with the Declaration of Helsinki (2013 revision). The research conducted was approved by the Ethics Committee of the University of Sichuan and the Education Bureau of Baoxing Country in China (NO. 2013[173]). Prior to the commencement of any study-related procedures, all participants and teachers provided their consent by signing an informed consent form. The investigators presented the youth with a detailed outline of the procedures, emphasizing the voluntary nature of their participation and their right to decline involvement in the survey. The teachers' signature on the informed consent was a procedural requirement [CitationRef removed]. In China, if the local education institution, such as the Education Bureau of Baoxing Country and school administrators, endorses the survey as a mental health service for the students, parental consent is not mandatory [CitationRef removed].
