: Ethical approval for the collection and utilization of human samples was granted by the Medical Ethics Committee of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University. The collection and utilization of human third molars were approved on November 6th, 2023, under the project titled “Cell size-based microfluidic sorting of mesenchymal stem cell subpopulations with distinct mechanisms of action for cartilage repair” (Approval number: (2023) CDYFYYLK (11 − 002)).
