: <b>Human samples</b>All samples where obtained from patient who had previously signed an informed consent (“Profiling” protocol 001-IRCC-00IIS-10, approved by the Ethical Committee of Fondazione Piemontese per l’Oncologia Istituto di Ricerca e Cura a Carattere Scientifico of Candiolo). Staging information were available for all patients.<b>Animal studies</b>All experiments were performed in compliance with the ethical standards and according to national and international guidelines (Italian DLGS 26/2014 and EU directive 2010/63).In particular, in vivo studies were performed within our authorised animal facility (15/2016-UT), after approval and subsequent notification of the protocols by our internal institutional Review Board called "Organism for animal wellbeing" (OPBA) to the Italian Ministry of Health, which authorised them on January 15th 2019, with approval code No.24/2019-PR.
