: Animal experiments were conducted in compliance with protocols established by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev for ensuring animal welfare and minimizing discomfort. The animal ethical clearance protocol number used for the study was IL-23–05-2020(E).The acquisition and analysis of human ascites samples was approved by the ethics in research committee of the Rabin Medical Center and Ziv Medical Center under protocol 0450–16-RMC and 201913481, respectively.
