: Ascitic fluids samples were obtained with the written consent of HG-SOC patients undergoing surgery for ovarian tumour at the Gynecological Oncology of IRCCS, Regina Elena National Cancer Institute of Rome. The study protocol for ascites collection and clinical information was approved by the Regina Elena Cancer Institute review board. All protocols involving human specimens are compliant with all relevant ethical regulations.
