: HKs were isolated from skin biopsies collected via standardized operative procedures approved by European Institute of Oncology Ethical Board. HNSCC patients’ tissue samples were collected by the Division of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery division at the IEO Institute through IEO Biobank. Ethical approval was obtained from IEO Ethical Committee (code CE n. R1841/23- IEO 1972), Milan, Italy. All the enrolled patients signed the informed consent.
