: The human study was approved by the ethical Committee of the Policlinico Umberto I (Rome, Italy) (n°0067/2024). Informed consent was obtained from all the subjects, and the experiments conformed to the principles set out in the WMA Declaration of Helsinki and the Department of Health and Human Services Belmont Report. For the institutional tissue bank, all patients had previously provided written informed consent indicating their authorization or refusal for the collection, storage, and research use of biological and tissue samples. All animal protocols were approved by local ethics authorities (Italian Ministry of University and Research Authorization n.199/2019-PR - PI: Saula Checquolo) and conducted in accordance with Italian Governing Law (D.lgs 26/2014).
