: The blood samples were collected at health care facilities in the Västerbotten county of Sweden, as part of a health-intervention program between 1990 and 2017. Individuals who were subsequently diagnosed with ovarian cancer and controls, prospectively donated plasma samples following the obtaining of informed consent to use samples and data in research.
