Ethics approval and consent to participate
: Ethical approval was obtained from the Ethics and Research Committee of the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital and the Enugu State University Teaching Hospital. Informed consent was obtained from the parents of the children. The retrieved information was transferred into a private computer and pass worded. Data was anonymized, and questionnaires had no names. Participation in the study was entirely voluntary, and no financial inducement whatsoever was involved. Participants were informed that voluntary withdrawal at any stage of interaction was guaranteed for them without any adverse effect to the mother or their baby.
