: The study proposal was approved by the Medical Research Ethical Committee of the National Research Centre; this study was a part of a project of the 11th research plan of the National Research Centre under the title of “A Pilot Study to Evaluate the Performance of Egyptian Infants on the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development -third edition (Bayley III)” with ID number 11010141.
