: This retrospective observational cohort study involving human data was in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki Declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards. The collection and usage of data from PICU database were approved by the local ethics commission (Scientific Council of PAGNI and the Bioethics Committee (File No.: 18888, Date: 18/07/2024, Decision No: 1331). The signed consent of patients was not considered necessary since it is an anonymous retrospective recording study, as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation.
