: Human breast tumor and blood samples, were collected from Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI), Kolkata, India following written consent from patients and Institutional Ethical Committee (Approval no: CNCI-IEC-SB-2020-30). Title of the approved project: Elucidating the role of tumor educated platelets in promoting Epithelial to Mesenchymal transition and angiogenesis in breast cancer: Modulation by 2DG/NLGP. Name of the institutional approval committee or unit: Institutional Ethics Committee, Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, Kolkata, India. Approval number: CNCI-IEC-SB-2020-30. Date of approval: December 4th, 2020. The human cell lines MCF-7(RRID: CVCL_0031) and MDA-MB-231(RRID: CVCL_0062) were procured from National Centre for Cell Science, NCCS, Pune, India. Cell line preparation was permitted by the concerned Ethical Committee along with the human donors, through informed consents.
