: The 96 AD and SSTI <i>S. aureus</i> genomes were collected under protocol (IRB# AAAN5753) administrated by the Columbia University Institutional Review Board. Genomic data has been stripped of all protected health information and patient identifiers. Subjects provided informed consent.
