: For the NSCLC PDXs model the study was carried out in strict accordance with the recommendations in the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals of the Society of Laboratory Animals (GV SOLAS) in an AAALAC accredited animal facility. Experiments were approved by the Committee on the Ethics of Animal Experiments of the regional council (Permit Numbers: I-19/02). The NSCLC samples were sourced at the Medical Centre Freiburg, Germany from patients undergoing surgery. The ethical approval was issued by the “Ethikkommission der Albert-Ludwig-Universität Freiburg “, Germany in 1983. PC9 CDX animal studies were conducted in accordance with U.K. Home Office legislation, the Animal Scientific Procedures Act 1986, and AstraZeneca Global Bioethics policy. All experimental work is outlined in project license PP3292652, which has gone through the AstraZeneca Ethical Review Process. Female severe combined immunodeficiency disease (SCID) mice were purchased from Envigo UK.
